We had so much fun at our open house a few weeks back and were honored to show off our new space to friends and neighbors! Thank you to the Montgomery County VA Chamber of Commerce for hosting the ribbon-cutting ceremony and welcoming us to our new home in the historic Cambria District of Christiansburg.
Baseline Solar Solutions (our amazing sister company) showed off some of their cool tech, including a drone that took live video footage of the event and allowed visitors to see the newly-installed 42.4kW rooftop solar array from the ground.
The open house was a great opportunity to show the incredible transformation of the old Rorrer Well Drilling commercial building that we purchased in June 2021. We spent more than two years renovating and restoring the 50-year-old structure to be a modern and welcoming home base, including adding LED lighting, new HVAC systems, large windows and metal awnings.
Our colleagues at Baseline Solar installed the rooftop solar array earlier this year, which now offsets 100% of our electric usage and saves us $8,000 a year on electric bills! We are so proud to be a part of the vibrant Cambria community and hope you can come see us soon.
